DEATH OF MR. E. EBRIGHT

Died, Wednesday evening, Nov 6, 1907, at his home in the northwest part of this city. Mr. Ephraim Ebright, age 76 years 8 months, 20 days. Mr. Ebright was born in Pennsylvania Feb. 17, 1832. There he grew to manhood. In 1874 he moved to Indiana, and in 1886 he came west to Kansas, settling on a farm north of Wichita. He left there in 1898 and came to Oklahoma, and two years ago last August he came to Blackwell. Mr. Ebright was unfortunate in his first marriage, losing his wife a short time afterward. In Indiana in 1874 he was married to Miss Sarah M. Combs, who with their four boys mourn his loss. He united with the Presbyterian church when a young man, though he never brought his membership here.
For some years he has been in poor health, and for the last few months quite an invalid. His death however was unexpected, as he seemed better and all were hoping that he was improving. He was a kind husband and father, and left to his dear ones that priceless inheritance a good name. The funeral was from the family residence, Friday afternoon Nov. 8th at 2 p.m., and was conducted by Rev. Thos. F. Barrier of the Presbyterian church.
