Dies in Arkansas City, KS Friday. He was born June 12, 1899 in Spivey, KS to Jim and Minnie Dye. He married Kate Harding April 1921 in Cheney, KS. Suvivors include two sons, Dale (Jack) of Ponca City and A H (Shorty) of Maple City, KS; four daughters Mrs Carl [Mathilda]Hinkle of Tyron, OK; Clara Lee Melber of Ponca City; Mrs Gerald [Bonnie] Massey of Steling, KS and Mrs Fred [Fern] Cottle of Wellington, KS; a brother Samuel (Bob) of Wichita, KS; a sister Mae Scott of Winfield, KS. His wife preceded him in death.
Burial will be in the Riverview Cemetery in Kaw City under the direction of Rindt-Erdman-Oldroyd Funeral Chapel in Arkansas City, KS.
