Funeral services for Mrs. Minerva Denison, 99, who died at the home of her son, A E Denison in the Cross addition early Tuesday morning, will be held at 2 O’clock Wednesday afternoon at the Salvation Army with Ensign Damian Nichols officiating. Burial will be in the Parker Cemetery, east of Arkansas city, under the direction of the Guy P Helford funeral home.
Mrs. Denison had been ill for the past two years and had been visiting at the home of her son for about two months. Her husband died 7 years ago.
She is survived by three daughters, Mrs. C E Locke of Arkansas City; Mrs. J M Moore of Ponca City and Mrs. Anna Bohonnan of Frederick and three sons, Ed Denison of Bakersfield, Calif, J H Denison of Arkansas City and A E Denison of this city. A large number of grandchildren and great-grandchildren also survive.
