Kyle Dwayne Cummings NEWKIRK — Kyle Dwayne Cummings, lifelong resident of Newkirk, died Friday morning, Dec. 9, 2005, in Via Christi Oklahoma Regional Medical Center in Ponca City. He was 19. The funeral will be 2 p.m. Wednesday, Dec. 14, in First United Methodist Church of Newkirk with Danny W. Cornish, minister of the Newkirk Church of Christ, officiating. Burial will follow in Newkirk Cemetery under the direction of Miller-Stahl Funeral Service. The body will lie in state at the funeral home Tuesday from 9 a.m. until 9 p.m. and Wednesday from 9 a.m. until noon. Kyle Dwayne Cummings was born Dec. 24, 1985, in Arkansas City, Kan., the son of Darrell and Jean Goff Cummings. He grew up and received his education in the Newkirk school system. He became a member of Boy Scouts of America and Future Farmers of America, where he won many ribbons. While in high school he attended Pioneer Technology Center where he studied mechanical technology. His senior year he was on the principal's honor roll at the high school and the director's honor roll at the technical center. He graduated from Newkirk High School with the class of 2004. He was employed as a production technician with Lindsay Manufacturing Inc. in Ponca City. He also had a lawn mowing service and helped on his grandparent's farm. Kyle enjoyed hunting, fishing, camping, model cars and music. He is survived by his parents; one sister, Brandy Marion of Tulsa; his grandparents, Elmer and Flo Cummings of Newkirk and Delmer and Donna Goff of Derby, Kan.; and a niece and nephew and numerous other relatives. He was preceded in death by his grandmother, Lois Goff; and his great-grandparents, Fred and Dorothy Dominick, Harry and Marie Cummings, Dave and Ruby Williams and Brian and Verna Goff. Casket bearers will be Rick Johnson, Robert Moman, Nick Randol, Johnnie Garner, Caleb Johns and Butch Strong. Memorial contributions
