Death of Mother Criswell

Miss Angeline Summers was born near Bloomfield, Ohio, Dec. 8th, 1814; died at her home near Tonkawa, O. T., November 21, 1901, at 6:30 a.m. She was married to S. G. Criswell, Dec. 22nd, 1857; she was converted during the year 1854, and joined the New Light church in 1873 in Wichita, Kans. She transferred her membership to the M. E. church, of which she remained a faithful member until her death. She was the mother of four children, and leaves her husband and two sons, S. B. and O. S. Criswell, to morn her loss. Funeral services were held at the home of her son, O. E. Criswell, Nov. 25th, at 10 a.m. by Rev. Geo. A. Kleinsteiber who paid an eloquent tribute to the memory of the dead, and consoled the relatives with words of cheer. The News extends the sympathy of the community to the family.
