Obituary

The death of David J. Craike occurred at his home last Tuesday morning at 8:30 o’clock.
The kite David J. Craike was born at Lane Station, Ill., and 49 years of age. In 1870 he moved to the state of Kansas, where he resided until 1894, when he moved to the state of Missouri. From there he moved to Tonkawa in 1897 where he has since resided.
Mr. Craike has been active member of the Christian church for 33 years , and has served as elder in the local church at this place.
Funeral services were held in the Christian church Wednesday at two o’clock. The remains will be laid to rest in the cemetery at Oketa, Kans.
Those who mourn the loss are his wife and three children, father, mother, and two sisters were present at the funeral.
The many friends of Tonkawa extend sympathy to the bereaved relatives.
