The body of C. E. Cornell arrived from Seattle, Wash. last Saturday afternoon, via the H. & S., and was taken to the home of his mother in this city. The funeral was held Sunday morning at 10 o’clock, conducted by Rev. G. W. McQuiddy, of the Christian church, and was attended by a large circle of friends. The interment was in Prairie Chapel cemetery, alongside his father. Mr. Cornell lived here for a number of years, being engaged in the barber business and but recently moved to Seattle from Colorado. He was stricken with pneumonia and lived but a short time. His wife, mother and brother have the sincere sympathy of many sorrowing friends.
