DIED – Little Gladyes, the seven-year-old daughter of Mr. And Mrs. J.P. Carlson who lives on a claim one mile east and one mile south of town. She had been troubled several days with a bad cold, but was not thought to be seriously ill until Wednesday afternoon, when a physician pronounced her disease membranous croup. All that human aid could do was done for her, but of no avail she died Thursday morning at 11 o’clock. Mr. And Mrs. Carlson has the sympathy of the entire community in the loss of their only little child. [Block 161 Lot 2 Space 5]
