FUNERAL MONDAY

Leo, the 13 year old son of Mr. and Mrs. T. H. Burns, who live in the Excelsior neighborhood, died last Sunday after a lingering illness. The funeral was from the family residence Monday afternoon at 2 o'clock, conducted by Rev. R. H. Love of the Christian church of Ponca City, and the interment was in the Ponca City cemetery. Leo was an unusually bright and lovable boy and not only the family, but the entire community are bereft. He had been sick for several weeks, but since about the Fourth, there has been little or no hope, and the cause of his death is stated as brain fever. The many friends of the family sympathize with them in this great affliction.
