Obituary

Sibyl the little daughter of Mr. And Mrs. D. W. Bunch died at their residence in Tonkawa, March 18, 1899. aged one year four months and twenty-six days. The funeral services were held in the Baptist church, being conducted by W. W. Hoover, in the presence of many sympathizing friends; after which interment was made in the Odd Fellow’s cemetery, one mile north and one-half mile west of Tonkawa.
The heavier cross, the heartier prayer,
The bruised herbs most fragrant are,
If wind and sky were always fair,
The sailor would not watch the star;
And David’s Psalms had na’er been sung
If grief his heart had never wrong.
