MRS. J. S. BREWER DEAD

Thursday morning of last week while Mrs. J. S. Brewer was engaged in preparing dinner, she was attacked with a stroke of apoplexy. She was alone in the house at the time and was not discovered until Mr. Brewer came home from his work and found her lying upon the floor unconscious. Neighbors were called and physicians summoned but all of no avail. She regained consciousness at times when aroused by some one talking to her, but her condition gradually grew worse until the end. She expired last night shortly after 10 o’clock. Her daughter, Mrs. H. M. Hall, of Colorado Springs, Colo., was summoned and is expected to arrive today, and the funeral arrangements will not be made until after her arrival.
