BRANSON – Died, Jan. 8, 1908 at his home on west Florence avenue, N. B. Branson, aged about 75 years, of heart failure. Mr. Branson had lived with his family on his farm about twelve miles north of town ever since the opening of the strip some fourteen years ago. His health was failing fast and they came to Blackwell about three weeks ago to be convenient for medical attention. Funeral at the house on Saturday at 11 a.m., conducted by the G. A. R., deceased being a member, the sermon being preached by Rev. Jacob Crites.
