John A. Boyles

John Alford Boyles who died Friday, five miles east of Arkansas City, was buried in Newkirk cemetery Sunday afternoon.
Mr. Boyles, who died at the age of 57, was born in Topeka, Kans., in 1869. He is survived by his wife, Mrs. Jennie Boyles; his stepsons, William Blair of Apperson, Harry Blair of Arkansas City, James Blair of New York City, Richard Blair of Arkansas City; his stepdaughters, Mrs. Thomas Gibson of Apperson and Mrs. Charles Mann of Ponca City; his sisters, Mrs. J. E. Buchan of Tulsa, Mrs. John Noell of Newkirk and Mrs. Edgar Liber of Ponca City; a half brother, H. G. Swingle of Los Angeles; six nieces and six nephews.
Mrs. Boyles was a member of the Methodist church and of the Ancient Order of United Workmen of Arkansas City. - Newkirk Republican News-Journal 1926
