County Resident Dies In Hospital Wednesday

Edward Boyce, 57 who lived on Rural Route No, 2 near Ponca City died at 1 a.m. Wednesday at a Blackwell hospital.
He had been in ill health the past three years.
Mr. Boyce came to the Blackwell community in 1923 from Tulsa community.
Funeral services will be in charge of the Roberts mortuary.
Survivors include two daughters Mrs. Carl Martin of Blackwell and Mrs. Wesley Miller of Texas county; one son, Frank Boyce of Blackwell; three sisters, Emma Bennett of Kansas City, Mo,. Addie Sanders of Glendale, Calif,. And Mrs. P. Davis of Ponca City and one brother, B.B. Boyce of Ponca City.


Funeral Rites Friday Here for Edward Boyce

Funeral services for Edward Boyce 57, who died in a Blackwell hospital Wednesday morning will be held from the Roberts mortuary chapel at 3:30 p.m. Friday.
Rev. C. E. Bercher, minister of the church of God, will officiating and burial will be made in the I.O.O.F., cemetery here.


Edward Boyce

Edward Boyce was born to Benjamin and Eliza Boyce Sept 16, 1885 at Dexter, Kans., and died at the Blackwell hospital Dec 9, 1942.
He was married to Francielia Morse and to this union six children were born, Dorothy, Irene, Mabel, Allen, Frank and Lens.
His wife, Irene, Mabel and Allen have preceded him in death.
He leaves two daughters and one son. Dorothy Martin of Blackwell, Lena Miller of Texhoma and Frank Boyce of Blackwell; one brother, S. B. Boyce of Ponca City; three sisters, Anna Davis of Ponca City, Emma Bennett of Kansas City, Mo,. And Addie Zanders of Glendale, Calif; three grandchildren and a number of nephews.
