Obituary
The remains of Mrs. Lucy A. Black, mother-in-law of our well-known friend, Mr. A O’Harra, was laid to rest in her silent grave Saturday, October 6, 1894. Aged 76 years. She has been a member of the M.E. church for the past 18 years and has manifested a faithful Christian life. The friends sincerely sympathize with the bereaved in their great afflictions.
Asleep in Jesus, and blessed sleep
From which none ever wakes to weep
A calm and undisturbed repose
Unbroken by the last to foes
Asleep in Jesus, far from thee
