OBITUARY

Theodore Adriance was born December 25, 1844, in Duchess county, New York, and was united in marriage to Anna E. Pettit at Sabetha, Kan., December 11, 1882. From this union there were 4 children – Sarah R., the oldest daughter, now married and living here; Martha, who died 13 years ago today; Edith, now at home; Daniel Theodore, the only son, now 10 years old and at home; 3 sisters and 2 brothers in New York state and one brother in Kansas.
The deceased belonged to no lodge or church, but was a man of sterling worth and character, whose word was his bond and whose religion was the Golden Rule – Do unto others as you would have others do unto you. Besides the wife and three children he leaves three sisters and two brothers in New York state and one in Kansas to mourn his loss, besides a host of friends both here and in Kansas.
His remains were laid to rest in Sabetta, Kan., beside his daughter, Martha.
