| The purpose of this Committee:
1. To keep the church in regular and close contact with the men and women in the service and to send each month the devotional booklet “Today” and the monthly magazine “The Messenger,” which is prepared especially for service men and women. 2. To keep in touch with parents and wives of our service people, keeping the church files up to dat as to addresses and ranks. 3. To keep on the alert as to the people of our church going into the service and to list them on the Honor Roll. OUR HONOR ROLL These are our loved ones who, in the hour of peril, have fully dedicated
themselves to the nation. They come from our homes, they dwell in our
affections, the abide in our prayers. Their labors and their sacrifices
become our challenge. In the silence of our hearts, we pray that God may
graciously keep the. |
