On April 8, 1911, the 101 Ranch Wild West Show opened in Passaic, New Jersey. They did a one week run in the Boston area, sixteen performances in Pennsylvania, Michigan, Wisconsin and Illinois. The main problem the show faced on this tour was the competition of the Ringling Brothers, Forepaugh-Sells and Barnum & Bailey shows. In many towns, two or more of these shows played within a week of each other.

El Reno, Oklahoma was to be the last stop of the tour but the show extended their tour through Texas, New Mexico, Arizona and California. The last show was on November 22 at Pomona, California. The show had been on the road seven and one-half months, traveled 14,097 miles and toured 25 states.
