In 1907 the show performed in the Chicago Coliseum with 90 cowboys and cowgirls, 70 Indians, 300 head of horses, buffalo and longhorn cattle as well as wagons and stagecoaches. The show spent two weeks in Chicago then moved to the Jamestown Expedition in Virginia on May 20. The 90 minute shows had 16 acts. A second group of performers were in Brighton Beach, New York for six weeks. On October 12, the first show closed at Jamestown and moved to Richmond, Virginia for two days, the Georgia State Fair in Atlanta for nine days, Louisville, Kentucky for seven days returning to Bliss on November 7. The 101 retained its own emergency hospital while on the road. Each day at least one to six cowboys or cowgirls were patients there. |
