NICHOLS

I was recently shown a postcard from 1924 that was purported to be of my great-uncle Art Nichols. It was a picture of a cowboy falling from a bucking bronco. The picture is identified as "Nichols takes a spill from 'Strangler' - 101 Ranch". I see from the 1925 list of members that there is a C. Nichols listed, but I see no listing for A. Nichols. I was wondering if you could provide any information on C. Nichols, or if you may know of Arthur Nichols working at the 101.

Thank you,

Tom Fielding

NORRIS

I'm looking for information on the 101 Ranch from late 1800-1905. My Greatgrandfather worked on the ranch in the late 1800, and my grandmother was born on the same ranch in 1901 I believe. The family name is Metcalf, (Bill). My Grandmothers maiden name was Norris, Lucy Ofelia. The story told by her to me was left with her family (Brothers, Charlie, Luther, Mother and Father, around 1904).
Any information will help.
Thank You,

Linda Tolleson Couk
Nelson
Can you check your records to see how long Apid Nelson was with the 101 Ranch show - She is listed on your 1925 list and we know she was there that year with her sisters Molly and Mildred.  We believe she was with the 101 from 1924 to 1930.  Also, can you find a Joe Yellowhead in the list of Indian performers in the 1920's.
 Thank you
