JOYCE

There is a post card on E-Bay supposedly from the 101 Ranch of Jack Joyce American Cowboy Lasso Expert. I know that Jack Joyce was with the Buffalo Bill Wild West Show in 1898. I know he knew Tom Mix and Will Rogers, and went to Europe with a Wild West Show in the early 1900s which was perhaps associated with one of the other. (On family story is that he and Mix flipped a coin to see who would go to CA and who would go to Europe.) I know he was with Zirkus Busch in Germany around 1908 (There is a reprint of that poster available now) and then went to Denmark where he ran Jack Joyce's Wild West Circus. He and his family returned to the USA in the 1920s and he had a liberty horse act on the Keith Albee circuit until his retirement. I am interested to know when (if?) he was at the 101 Ranch. Jack Joyce was my Great Uncle

JONES

I am seeking information on Warren Jones and his wife Ella. Family history recalls they were both Cherokee Indians and may have been born near Ponca City. Our family legend ties Warren to the 101 Ranch, perhaps as a cowboy. Warren & Ella ey had at least 4 children, Warren (b. 1863), Tom (b. 1864), Benjamin Franklin (b. 1867), and Jim (b. 1869). My great-grandfather Benjamin Franklin married Mary Ann Nally in 1886 at Pyatt, Arkansas and shortly thereafter returned with her to the 101 Ranch where he also worked as a cowboy. I've searched all the readily available sources and haven't located anything. Anyone out there with info or ideas on how to proceed, please reply. Thanks,
