HARMON

My grandmother and great aunt were trick ropers that performed with the Miller Brothers 101 Ranch in the 1920's. At the time they were dubbed the youngest trick riders and ropers in the world. I was writing to know if you have any information on them.

HERBERG

My name is Melissa W. Ragan, and I am the fourth cousin of the Miller brothers of the famous 101 Ranch and Wild West Show. I am looking for information on Bessie Blackwell(born Betty Herberg 1896 in Ruthton, MN).Presently I am looking for anyone who knew or knows anything about Bessie, Marshall or Louis Blackwell; Dal, Tinnie, Ernest, Floyd or C.J. Fisher; Wanda Russell; Vernon or Florence Roberson; the Ponca No Ears; Gladys Shane or George and Joe Miller. I hope to publish Bessie's story, which will be a combination of history, fact and speculation, with your help. Please do not let this information die, I believe it would be a tragedy

MELISSA

HILL

Do you have any record of an uncle of mine named Bob Hill? Family legend has it that he was a cast member. I don't have any dates. He was a buckin horse rider.

Thanks

HERBERG

I am searching for information on Bessie Herberg, married names Carter and Blackwell. She was a member of the 101 Ranch Wild West Show, but I do not find her in any of the data online. Is she in the records you have? She died in a mysterious fire in her home in 1944. I have post cards with her picure, and the captions "World Champion Cowgirl, 101 Ranch Wild West Show."
Any information would be helpful.
Thank you,

Judy Roberts
Huggins

My great-grandfather, G.W. Huggins, (George Washington) worked as a foreman at the 101 Ranch in Oklahoma. I have an aerial shot of the 101 Ranch taken in 1923 as well as a picture of four horse thieves who were hung for their acts. The pictures were passed down to my Dad after my grandmother, Georgia Ann Huggins, died. I would like to know if you have any further information regarding my great-grandfather. He worked as a sheriff as well and is said to have killed in excess of 20 men. Please let me know if you have any further information regarding this man. Due to the animosity my grandmother held for her father, I have very little information. Thank you.

HURSHMAN

Looking for information on Henry A. Hurshman, my grandfather. He was at the 101 Ranch prior to 1909, possibly before July 1905. I have some photos from the ranch but no dates on them. He was born in Germany in 1882. I don't know what timeframe he was at the Ranch or what he may have done while there. Later US Census records list his occupation as a painter (artist).

Hendrix

I am trying to get information as to when my grandfather worked as a cowboy/ ranch hand on the 101 ranch. It would have been sometime about 1900 to about 1912 when him and my grandmother was married. I asked my mother how grandpaw come into that part of the country ( wainewrite/muskogee ) . She said he was working on the old 101 ranch out at Biggs. His name was Emmit james Hendrix. He was good at leather work. was born in Texas.
